Hammersmith and Fulham

Stanhope, Mitsui Fudosan and AIMCo have signed biopharma from Autolas as the first major life sciences company at White City Place. It will occupy 33,000 sq ft from October 2018.

Southwark

PW reports the HB Reavis has agreed to sell its 78,000 sq ft office development at 61 Southwark Street to an overseas private investor. The building has been pre-let to CBRE’s Global Workspace Solutions.

Wandsworth

EG reports that defying doom and gloom in the luxury London residential market, Battersea Power Station Development Company has started construction on 600 private homes in SW8. Phase 3b, with 700 homes, commencing in due course. Architects Gehry Partners and Foster+ Partners’ plans call for a new pedestrianised high street, Electric Boulevard, to run from the new Underground station, due to complete in 2020 along with the Northern Line extension, up to the Power Station.
