The redevelopment of the site involving the erection of five buildings and retention of one building for the provision of up to 69,033 sqm of Class E space for flexible life science uses, up to 6,363 sqm for flexible Class E and F1/F2 supporting uses (gallery, exhibition, community), 2,820 sqm Class F1 (a) space for research, development and teaching activities and 759m of Class E(b) and Sui Generis space for a pavilion building for a cafe and public toilets and a landscaped open square. The development will also include landscaping, public realm enhancements, roadworks and parking. The buildings will vary in height, ranging from four to 15 storeys, with some existing structures partially demolished or retained.
